Our Doctrinal Statement

The Scriptures
“We believe the Holy Scriptures to be the inspired Word of God, authoritative, infallible and inerrant in their original form.”

God
“We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons, equal in all respects, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.”

Jesus Christ
“We believe that Jesus Christ is true God and true man, conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin, Mary; that He died on the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice to redeem from both the penalty, power and eventually, the very presence of sin; that He was buried, physically raised from the dead at ascended into heaven where He now sits at the right hand of God the Father as our Advocate and High Priest until He returns, first to deliver His own from the wrath to come, then to establish His earthly Kingdom.”

The Holy Spirit
“We believe in the Person and Deity of the Holy Spirit, and that during this age of grace, He convicts, regenerates, indwells, guides, instructs and empowers the believer for godly living and service.”

Man
“We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God, but that because of Adam’s sin, the human race, of whom he was representative, inherited a sinful nature, became alienated from God and is totally unable to remedy its lost and fallen condition.”

Salvation
“We believe that through the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ on our behalf, its once-for-all sufficiency being validated by God raising Him from the dead, ‘that all those who place their faith alone in Christ alone’ as the sole basis of their salvation, are regenerated by the Holy Spirit and made a member of the family of God, totally and forever forgiven of the penalty of their sins and thus ‘eternally secured’ in their standing before Him as children of God. We also believe that it is the Christian’s privilege and responsibility as a child of God to live a holy lifestyle and to mature into Christ likeness on a day by day basis.”
